Born in İzmir. She was admitted to İzmir State Conservatory following her graduation from İzmir Türk Private College. In 1984, she graduated from department of opera in five years instead of seven and she started her career as a soloist at İzmir State Opera and Ballet. She has been taking the stage in leading soprano roles with around 30 productions at İzmir State Opera and Ballet such as Czaar und Zimmermann”, “La Traviata”, “L'elisir d'amore”, “Rigoletto”,“Lucia di Lammermoor”, “Il Barbiere Di Siviglia”, “La Boheme”, “Don Pasquale”, “Die Entführung aus dem Serail”, ”Faust”, “Le nozze di Figaro”, “Don Giovanni”, “Les contes d'Hoffmann”, “Magic Flute”, “Fidelio”, “Falstaff”, “Il turco in Italia”, “Idomeneo”, “Yusuf and Züleyha”, “Aşk-ı Memnu” , “Ariadne auf Naxos”, “Romeo and Juliette”, “Otello”, “Turandot”,Aida and also in Operettas such as “Das Land des Lächelns” and “Die Fledermaus.” She has sang soprano parts of Carmina Burana, Beethoven’s 9.th Symphony, Mozart and Verdi’s Requiem ,Paulus and Yunus Emre Oratorios. She has sang and recorded Turkish Military Symphony by Çetin Işıközlü, with the accompany of Bilkent Symphony Orchestra.She has also given successful performances in Istanbul and Ankara State Opera and Ballet houses as guest artist.

She performed as a soloist in various concerts with distinguished orchestras as ?Presidential Symphony Orchestra, Cemal Reşit Rey, Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, İstanbul, İzmir, Antalya and Bursa State Symphony Orchestras. In 1996, she has attended South Korea tour with İzmir State Symphony Orchestra and perfomed as a soloist in "Friendship Concerts" with İstanbul State Symphony and Athens Symphony Orchestras. Aytül Büyüksaraç also realized many performances, concerts and opera productions abroad, such as Moscow, Burgas, Montevideo, Kishinev, Ohrid, Mexico City, Munich,Bremen,Athens,Osnabruck, Marl, Duisburg, Baku, Marrakech, Lefkosha, Girne, Gijon and Rhodes. She performed Die Entführung aus dem Serail”, “The Magic Flute”, “Lucia di Lammermoor”, “Romeo and Juliette” operas at Aspendos, İstanbul, İzmir and Boğaziçi International Opera and Music Festivals. In 2001, she ?completed her masters degree at Dokuz Eylul University State Conservatory Performing Arts Department.

She has pursued her art career in İstanbul State Opera and Ballet between 2001-2003 and played leading parts in “La Traviata”, “Rigoletto”, “Don Giovanni”, “Verdi Requiem” staged in Istanbul.

Between the years 1995-2001 and 2007-2014 she acted as Administrative and Artistic Director of İzmir State Opera and Ballet.

Besides her soloist position at İzmir State Opera and Ballet,Mrs.Büyüksaraç is a faculty member at Yaşar University Faculty of Arts and Design, Music Department.She is also a coordinator of Opera Department.

She was elected for the prizes of "Most Prominent Opera Artist in 2007" by İstanbul Çırağan Lions Clubs, “Ferhan Onat” special prize by Semiha Berksoy Opera Foundation in 2010,"The Best Opera Production of the Year-Artistic Director" prize by International Lions Clubs Multiple District 118 Confederation in the context of "2011-2012 Lions Opera Prizes", “Warder of the Republic in our City” prize 12 th. which was organized by İzmir Özel Çamlaraltı Koleji in 2013, “Best Opera-Vocal Artist” prize in the context of “16 th. Dario Moreno Mediterranean Friendship-Peace and Tolerance Art Awards” by İzmir Lovers Platform and Dario Moreno Friends Foundation in 2014, awarded for “Gold Homer” prize in the context of “Gold Homer İzmir Contribution Prize” by İzmir Tevfik Fikret Private Schools, for the contribution to arts.
